Environmental Policy

KOBE Pty Ltd is an independent security and automation company founded in response to the commercial requirement for our particular expertise in the areas of access control and closed circuit television.

Our company regards environmental management as a fundamental aspect of a sound business foundation. KOBE is committed to focusing on continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the system based on our business plan which establishes the framework and guides our team to consistently deliver products and services to customer requirements.

We have established this policy statement to provide high level strategic direction of the corporate expectations and set the foundations of annually identified, monitored, managed, and assessed ISO 14001 objectives.

It is our policy to:

  • ensure our operations, products and services comply with the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (Cth), in addition to meeting the requirements set down in ISO 14001, industry best practice codes and other standards relevant to our business;
  • ensure that the internally developed and maintained business processes are in line with ISO14001 expectation and best practices, ensuring the commitment to the protection of the environment, including the reduction of and or prevention of pollution and a suitable recycling program.
  • ensure that our people have the knowledge, support and other resources needed to actively engage in, lead and achieve our commitment to environmental care as documented within the management system.
  • ensure our team is committed to the identification, development, monitoring, management and maintenance of a risk based focused framework ensuring environmentally sustainable systems, processes and outputs are within the management system that complies with ISO14001:2015.
  • Our management system framework and documented information identifies and delivers on customer requirements, statutory/regulatory and contractual obligations.
  • promote similar environmental standards from our suppliers, stockists and contractors by informing them of our Environmental Policy and manage them to ensure their compliance with this policy;
  • communicate openly and constructively with relevant authorities and the general community to meet the needs and demands of growth that may result from our business products or services.

We will monitor, measure, analyse and evaluate our Company’s performance in relation to the risk-based objectives and targets we have set to identify areas for improvement and opportunity. We will implement any changes identified to continually improve our performance, ensuring our commitment to the protection of the environment.
